With ECHO, Niklas Lukassen creates landscapes painted through word and sounds in an unlikely combination of songwriter poetry and vivid improvisation.

Distinctively orchestrated with vocalist Immy Churchill on vocals, vibraphonist Jonny Mansfield on vibraphone, drummer Ananda Brandão, and Niklas Lukassen on a hybrid instrument - the bass cello, their music resonates far beyond the boundaries of any single stylistic corner. Stories unfold freely in every direction, sounding as imaginative as if they had come from an ECHO travelling across caves and valleys, traversing an entire world of its own in mere moments.​
